We all make different choices and we need different things. But I think eventually we learn to define happiness for ourselves, on our own terms, in spite of the pain other people have caused us.

The only way to get through life is to laugh your way through it. You either have to laugh or cry. I prefer to laugh. Crying gives me a headache.

Do you remember how it was at the beginning? Even when we were apart, we’d talk every night. And my heart raced with every text; and every time my phone rang, I hoped it would be you.

I believe in true love. I believe in love at first sight. I believe love conquers all and that doesn’t mean there’s not gonna be hard days or difficult things to deal with, because there will be. But finding that person who does it for you, knowing that person loves you back, it just makes everything so much easier.

Realize now that when your heart breaks, you got to fight like hell to make sure you’re still alive. Because you are. And that pain you feel? That’s life. The confusion and fear? That’s there to remind you, that somewhere out there is something better, and that something is worth fighting for.

There’s some boy out there who’s going to like you for everything you are, including those parts of you that even you don’t like. Those are going to be the things he likes the most.
